Manufactured from aluminium for long cleat life, the Clamcleat® CL244 cleat is mainly used with our clamps to fit onto flag poles and tubes.
It is also a replacement part for windsurfing boom cleats.
The Clamcleat® CL244/L can be insert moulded into a plastic part. The cleat has tangs on its side to help key it into the finished moulding. When used as an insert cleat, the CL244/L has the advantage of an intergral fairlead to protect the outer moulding from rope burn. If you do not need this feature you may wish to look at the CL712 or CL716.
