Founded in 1926 in Novara, Italy, by Maria Gottifredi, our company has grown from a small workshop to a global leader in the production of high-strength synthetic ropes and braids. In 1954, we supplied the first nylon ropes for the historic Italian expedition that conquered K2, marking the beginning of our long tradition of innovation. Since then, the silhouette of K2 has become our distinctive symbol.

Over the years, we have collaborated with America’s Cup teams such as Azzurra, Luna Rossa, Alinghi, and Oracle Team USA, providing advanced rigging solutions. Today, we are official partners of teams like Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli, INEOS Britannia, and Alinghi Red Bull Racing.
