Safe usage guidelines

Purpose

Harken and Holt springs are designed for use in block systems, tensioning mechanisms, and other sailing equipment.

Assembly

Usage

Pre-sailing check:

Before going out on the water, make sure the spring is fully functional and shows no signs of damage, such as cracks, deformations, or corrosion.
Check that the spring is securely mounted and that there are no loose fittings.

During use:

Do not use the spring if you notice any mechanical damage.
Avoid overloading the spring, as this may cause damage or failure.
If you experience difficulties with the spring's operation, immediately stop using it and conduct a thorough inspection.
