Safety Information
Safety instructions for jusing (waxed lines for sail stitching)
Safe usage rules
Using jusing for sail stitching
Jusing (waxed lines) are designed for precise sail stitching, providing the required strength and durability. They should be used according to the manufacturer’s recommendations.
When stitching, take extra care to avoid damaging the sail material or the thread. Too much tension or improper technique can lead to thread breakage or material damage.
Storage
Jusing should be stored in a dry, cool place, away from heat sources and UV rays that can weaken the material and wax coating.
Avoid storing jusing in areas exposed to moisture to prevent damage and deterioration of the wax coating properties.
Regular inspection
Technical condition check
Regularly check the condition of the jusing before use, paying attention to:
Material damage or wear: check for visible damage that may affect the strength of the thread.
Waxing: ensure the wax is evenly distributed and not too hard, which could make use difficult.
Flexibility: check if the line is not too stiff or brittle, which could make stitching harder.
Emergency situations
Damage to jusing
If you notice any damage (e.g., thread breakage) during use, immediately stop using it and replace the line.
Using damaged jusing may result in improper sail stitching, affecting its durability and efficiency.
Contact in case of problems
If you encounter any problems with the jusing, including doubts about its technical condition, contact the manufacturer or point of sale. Avoid modifying the thread yourself, as this may affect its strength and functionality.
