Floating handheld marine VHF transceiver with GPS.

Ability to change MMSI number and ATIS code independently. The user manual will guide you through the process of changing the MMSI number and ATIS code step by step.

Large LCD display
The design of a large display (43.2 mm x 43.2 mm) allowed for the use of extensive characters and bold markings, significantly increasing visibility in difficult conditions. Additionally, the MENU/SET button on the front panel allows direct access to the menu screen and settings.

Built-in 66-channel WAAS GPS
The 6W FLOATING VHF handheld radio HX-890 features a highly sensitive 66-channel GPS receiver allowing for quick and precise position determination. The position is clearly displayed on the screen, and the user can pass this data further via DSC or navigate to a specified point.

Floating on water, IPX8 waterproof, sturdy housing
The HX890E transceiver is waterproof and has been constructed according to IPX8 standard, guaranteeing tightness when submerged up to 1.5 m for 30 minutes. The transceiver does not sink but floats on the water surface! The housing is made of solid casting, making the radio suitable for the most challenging environment.

Navigation to designated waypoints
This radio model has the ability to input and save up to 250 waypoints and 30 routes, navigate to them, navigate to DSC distress calls. This significantly increases the functionality of the radio as a navigation aid.

Group Monitor
A new feature using DSC Group Position Calling, allowing for the saving of 10 groups with 9 members in each.

6W transmission power
To conserve battery power, the user can choose between 1W, 2.5W, 5W power, and for transmitting at maximum distances, 6W power can be selected.

Man Overboard
In danger, the MOB (Man over Board) function allows for continuous recording of the location of the overboard event.

Integrated encryption system
Two encryption function systems are available: 4-code type (CVS2500A) and 32-code type (FVP-42).

Noise reduction
To facilitate operation, noise reduction function during transmission and reception has been implemented.

Audio speaker
HX890E is designed to ensure that the signal is audible even in the loudest environment - a 700 mW internal speaker has been used.

The HX890 transceiver is equipped with an FM radio receiver.
