This women’s MicrofleeceTM X Sleeveless Top offering is specifically tailored for women. The unique women's range offers greater flexibility when it comes to preparing for on-water conditions than any other. Through its unique interlocking gripper pad system, the women’s MicrofleeceTM X top, vest and pants link together. This provides more convenience when layering and easier loo breaks than traditional skiff suit designs.

The X Range of wetsuits are a true step forward in sailing wetsuits and boast a unique combination of advanced design and sustainability. Built from natural Yulex® foam this neoprene free top provides all the performance expected of the MicrofleeceTM X range with a sustainable source at its core. Based on an evolution of our super stretch neoprene previously used in our X suits, advanced elongation properties provide improved flexibility and ease of movement.

Integrated Yulex® foam is composed of hardy plant-based materials derived from organic rubber sources. The product was designed to substitute the toxic manufacturing process of neoprene which has been used to create most of the planet's wetsuits for decades. With this natural alternative, all performance qualities are matched or exceeded so you don't have to choose between performance and environmental impact on the planet. The Yulex® natural rubber products provide optimal performance, are deforestation-free, and are proven equal, or better to neoprene and geoprene in all applications.

Zhik’s X Range garments have an improved fit with a 3D body-mapped design and specific seam placement to increase comfort and mobility.

Features:

  • Natural Yulex® rubber
  • Heat retaining graphene infused lining
  • Flatlock seam construction with stress point tape

Safety Information

1. Usage

1.1. The wetsuit should be used as intended, i.e., during water activities such as sailing, windsurfing, kayaking, or paddleboarding.
1.2. The wetsuit must fit the user’s body properly. An improper fit may restrict movement, reduce thermal protection, or cause discomfort.
1.3. Before putting on the wetsuit, ensure it is in good technical condition (no tears, abrasions, damaged zippers, or seals).

2. Maintenance and Cleaning

2.1. After each use, rinse the wetsuit with clean water to remove salt, sand, and dirt.
2.2. Do not use detergents, bleach, or harsh chemicals that may damage the material.
2.3. Dry the wetsuit in a well-ventilated, shaded area, avoiding direct sunlight and heat sources such as radiators.
2.4. Store in a dry place, either hung up or folded in a way that prevents permanent creases.

3. Safety Precautions

3.1. The wetsuit is not a flotation device and does not provide buoyancy. Always wear a certified life jacket or buoyancy aid when using the wetsuit.
3.2. If the material becomes damaged, reducing its insulation properties, repair the wetsuit immediately (e.g., using special neoprene adhesive) or replace it with a new one.
3.3. Avoid exposing the wetsuit to sharp objects that could puncture or tear it.
3.4. Do not use the wetsuit in situations where there is a risk of exposure to fire, high temperatures, or chemicals.

4. Storage Conditions

4.1. Store the wetsuit at room temperature (10-25°C), away from UV light and moisture.
4.2. Avoid contact with oils, solvents, and other chemicals that could weaken the material structure.
4.3. Regularly check the technical condition of the wetsuit, paying attention to seams, zippers, and material elasticity.

5. Health and Safety Recommendations

5.1. The wetsuit should be worn on clean skin or a thin layer of thermal clothing to prevent irritation.
5.2. If an allergic reaction to neoprene or Julex occurs, discontinue use immediately and consult a doctor.
5.3. Avoid overheating – in warmer conditions, remove the wetsuit to prevent dehydration and heat stroke.

6. Contact in Case of Issues

If a manufacturing defect or damage is detected, contact the manufacturer or the point of sale. Do not modify the wetsuit in a way that may affect its protective properties.
