Zhik Ola 4/3mm Women's Wetsuit – Comfort, Style, and Performance in One
The Zhik Ola 4/3mm women's wetsuit is an exceptional choice for active water sports enthusiasts looking for outstanding quality, comfort, and modern design. Thanks to innovative technologies and precise craftsmanship, the wetsuit offers excellent cold protection, flexibility, and attention to detail, allowing full freedom of movement and comfort during every water activity.
Zhik, a recognized leader in the production of wetsuits for water sports, combines proven solutions with modern materials to create a wetsuit that not only delivers performance but also adapts to the user's needs.
Features and Technologies:
Minimalist seam design
The seams in the wetsuit are strategically placed to minimize areas of low stretch, increasing comfort. The use of glued and blind-stitched seams, along with a new water-based glue formula, ensures complete waterproofing, flexibility, and durability.
Unfinished cuffs
The cuffs at the wrists and ankles are designed with unfinished edges, enhancing their stretch, reducing the risk of skin irritation, and minimizing bulk around the wrists and ankles. Silicone bands at the cuffs prevent slipping, ensuring comfort even during intense movements.
Zhiktex® II reinforcement on the knees
The wetsuit is equipped with knee panels made from Zhiktex® II material, which provides exceptional abrasion resistance and increases the wetsuit's durability, even with intensive use.
Short central zipper
The central zipper provides flexibility in the upper body, while minimizing non-stretch elements. The double-layer neck seal prevents water from entering the wetsuit, providing comfort and protection against the cold.
Smooth neoprene chest panel
The smooth neoprene on the chest panel effectively drains water, keeping wind chill outside, while the inner side is lined with quick-drying fleece that adds warmth to the core of the body.
Nature-inspired design
The wetsuit features a unique graphic pattern on the upper body, created by designer Jess Zinga from Northern Beaches in Sydney. The design was inspired by wood carvings, textures, and ocean waves, giving the wetsuit a distinctive, artistic character.
Blind stitch technology
Blind stitching is an innovative method where the seams are first glued and then only stitched halfway through the material. This prevents perforation of the neoprene, keeping water from seeping through the seams, ensuring better waterproofing and durability.
Features:
- Warm fleece on the chest
- Abrasion-resistant knee panels
- Unique nature-inspired graphic pattern
- Double neck seal with zipper
- Open water-draining holes at the ankles
The Zhik Ola 4/3mm wetsuit combines excellent comfort, functionality, and aesthetic design. Perfect for water sports in colder conditions, it provides exceptional freedom of movement, cold and wind protection, and unparalleled durability, thanks to the innovative materials and solutions used.
Safety Information
1. Usage
1.1. The sailing wetsuit should be used as intended, specifically during water activities such as sailing, windsurfing, kayaking, or paddleboarding.
1.2. The wetsuit must fit the user properly. Improper fit may restrict movement, reduce thermal protection, or cause discomfort.
1.3. Before putting on the wetsuit, ensure it is in good technical condition (no tears, abrasions, damaged zippers, or seals).
2. Maintenance and Cleaning
2.1. After each use, rinse the wetsuit with clean water to remove salt, sand, and debris.
2.2. Do not use detergents, bleach, or harsh chemicals that may damage the material.
2.3. Dry the wetsuit in a well-ventilated, shaded area, avoiding direct sunlight and heat sources such as radiators.
2.4. Store the wetsuit in a dry place, either hanging or folded in a way that prevents permanent creases.
3. Safe Use
3.1. The wetsuit is not a safety device and does not provide buoyancy. Always use an approved life jacket or buoyancy aid when wearing a sailing wetsuit.
3.2. If the material is damaged in a way that reduces its insulating properties, repair it immediately (e.g., using specialized neoprene glue) or replace it with a new one.
3.3. Avoid exposing the wetsuit to sharp objects that may puncture or tear it.
3.4. Do not use the wetsuit in situations where there is a risk of exposure to fire, high temperatures, or chemicals.
4. Storage Conditions
4.1. Store the wetsuit at room temperature (10–25°C), away from UV light and moisture.
4.2. Avoid contact with oils, solvents, and other chemicals that may weaken the material's structure.
4.3. Regularly inspect the wetsuit for wear and tear, paying special attention to seams, zippers, and the material's elasticity.
5. Health and Safety Recommendations
5.1. The wetsuit should be worn on clean skin or over a thin layer of thermal clothing to prevent irritation.
5.2. If an allergic reaction to neoprene or Julex occurs, discontinue use immediately and consult a doctor.
5.3. Avoid overheating – in warmer conditions, remove the wetsuit to prevent dehydration and heat stroke.
6. Compliance with GPSR Regulations
The sailing wetsuit complies with the safety requirements outlined in GPSR, provided it is used in accordance with the above guidelines. Both the manufacturer and the user are responsible for maintaining the wetsuit in good technical condition and using it as intended.
7. Contact in Case of Problems
