Safety Instructions for Sailing Pulleys
1. Purpose of the blocks
Sailing pulleys are designed exclusively for use in water sports and are used to guide ropes in rigging systems on vessels.
2. Restrictions on Use
   • Prohibited Uses: The pulley is not intended for belaying people or for any personal safety applications such as climbing, rescue or working at heights.
   • The block may only be used under the conditions specified in the technical documentation.
3. Technical Parameters
Before using the block, read the product card, which includes:
   • Maximum Allowable Operating Force (SWL).
   • The maximum diameter of the rope that the pulley can work with.
   • Materials from which the block is made.
Failure to comply with the parameters specified in the product sheet can lead to damage to the block and dangerous situations.
4. Inspection and Maintenance
   • Before each use, check the condition of the block, in particular if: 
o    The rollers rotate smoothly.
o    There is no cracking, corrosion or other damage.
o    Snaps, if any, work correctly.
   • Regularly clean the block of dirt, salt and sand.
   • Store the block in a dry and secure place, away from direct sunlight and chemicals.
5. Safe use
   • Do not exceed the maximum allowable manpower (SWL).
   • Only use the pulley in nautical systems for its intended use.
   • Make sure that the rope used with the pulley has the correct diameter and is in good working order.
6. Your Responsibility
The user is obliged to comply with this manual and the technical parameters given in the product card. The manufacturer is not responsible for damage resulting from improper use of the block.
