Knives and multitools are sharp. Use them carefully, keeping your hands away from blades and moving parts.
Ensure tools are properly folded or secured when not in use.
Use tools only for their intended purpose. Do not attempt tasks that could damage the tool or pose a risk to the user (e.g., prying heavy objects with a knife blade).
Always keep tools out of the reach of children and untrained individuals.
During Use
While working, ensure you have a stable position and proper control of the tool.
Always direct the knife blade away from yourself and others.
When opening or closing a multitool, ensure all components are fully unfolded or folded. Never use the tool if partially folded elements could move unexpectedly.
Regular Inspection and Maintenance
Inspection of Technical Condition
Regularly inspect knife blades and tool components for damage, such as cracks, bends, or dull edges.
If the tool has locking mechanisms, ensure they are functioning properly before each use.
