A small, neat knife for the True Utility brand for cutting packaging. It is also useful in any other situation where a reliable, sharp knife is needed. The knife has a mechanism that extends the blade, so we can hide the blade in the housing after cutting and safely put the knife in our pocket.
An additional function of the knife is a tip that allows you to unscrew screws or open bottles with caps.
The knife has a mechanism that allows you to attach the multitool, e.g. to your pants or a carabiner.
- External length of the knife: 8cm
- Outer width of the knife: 3cm
- Housing: aluminum
Safety Information
Safety Instructions for True Brand Knives and Multitools
Rules for Safe Use
General Safety Rules
Knives and multitools are sharp. Use them carefully, keeping your hands away from blades and moving parts.
Ensure tools are properly folded or secured when not in use.
Use tools only for their intended purpose. Do not attempt tasks that could damage the tool or pose a risk to the user (e.g., prying heavy objects with a knife blade).
Always keep tools out of the reach of children and untrained individuals.
During Use
While working, ensure you have a stable position and proper control of the tool.
Always direct the knife blade away from yourself and others.
When opening or closing a multitool, ensure all components are fully unfolded or folded. Never use the tool if partially folded elements could move unexpectedly.
Regular Inspection and Maintenance
Inspection of Technical Condition
Regularly inspect knife blades and tool components for damage, such as cracks, bends, or dull edges.
If the tool has locking mechanisms, ensure they are functioning properly before each use.
If damage is detected, stop using the tool and contact the manufacturer or point of sale for repair or replacement.
Cleaning and Maintenance
After each use, clean the tool to remove dirt, food residue, or dust.
Regularly lubricate moving parts of multitools with tool oil to prevent seizing.
Store knives and tools in a dry place to avoid corrosion.
Emergency Situations
Injury or Cut
In case of a cut, immediately rinse the wound with water and apply a disinfectant. If the wound is deep, seek medical attention.
In emergencies where the tool is jammed or damaged, do not force it open—use appropriate repair tools or contact a service center.
Mechanical Damage
Do not attempt to repair damaged blades or other components of multitools without proper tools and skills.
Contact in Case of Problems
For manufacturing defects or maintenance needs, contact True’s manufacturer or an authorized service center.
Do not modify the structure of knives or multitools yourself, as this may compromise their safety and functionality.
