WIP Steam 1.5 Wetsuit
The WIP Steam 1.5 is a summer wetsuit designed for water sports such as kitesurfing, windsurfing, or catamaran sailing. It is the perfect solution for those seeking comfortable, flexible protection on the water, especially in warmer conditions.

Product Features:

  • Super-stretch 1.5 Neoprene with Lycra Finish:
The wetsuit is made from flexible neoprene, providing exceptional comfort and freedom of movement. The added Lycra finish on the sleeves enhances flexibility, which is crucial for dynamic water sports.
  • WIP INSIDE Technology:
Integrated in key areas, WIP INSIDE technology uses panels with thermoplastic tiles and high-density foams, offering improved comfort, especially during falls into the water at higher speeds or after failed jumps.
  • Thin Rear Zipper:
The wetsuit features a thin rear zipper for easy donning and doffing, minimizing any unnecessary elements that could affect comfort.
  • WIP 3DS Cut:
The WIP 3DS cut ensures a body-hugging fit, providing excellent snugness that makes the wetsuit comfortable and non-restrictive during intense movement.

Ideal for:
Kitesurfing, catamaran sailing, and other water activities where comfort, flexibility, and performance are key.

The WIP Steam 1.5 Wetsuit is an excellent choice for active athletes who value high quality, comfort, and freedom of movement during water sessions.

Safety Information

1. Usage
1.1. The sailing wetsuit should be used as intended, specifically during water activities such as sailing, windsurfing, kayaking, or paddleboarding.
1.2. The wetsuit must fit the user properly. Improper fit may restrict movement, reduce thermal protection, or cause discomfort.
1.3. Before putting on the wetsuit, ensure it is in good technical condition (no tears, abrasions, damaged zippers, or seals).

2. Maintenance and Cleaning
2.1. After each use, rinse the wetsuit with clean water to remove salt, sand, and debris.
2.2. Do not use detergents, bleach, or harsh chemicals that may damage the material.
2.3. Dry the wetsuit in a well-ventilated, shaded area, avoiding direct sunlight and heat sources such as radiators.
2.4. Store the wetsuit in a dry place, either hanging or folded in a way that prevents permanent creases.

3. Safe Use
3.1. The wetsuit is not a safety device and does not provide buoyancy. Always use an approved life jacket or buoyancy aid when wearing a sailing wetsuit.
3.2. If the material is damaged in a way that reduces its insulating properties, repair it immediately (e.g., using specialized neoprene glue) or replace it with a new one.
3.3. Avoid exposing the wetsuit to sharp objects that may puncture or tear it.
3.4. Do not use the wetsuit in situations where there is a risk of exposure to fire, high temperatures, or chemicals.

4. Storage Conditions
4.1. Store the wetsuit at room temperature (10–25°C), away from UV light and moisture.
4.2. Avoid contact with oils, solvents, and other chemicals that may weaken the material's structure.
4.3. Regularly inspect the wetsuit for wear and tear, paying special attention to seams, zippers, and the material's elasticity.

5. Health and Safety Recommendations
5.1. The wetsuit should be worn on clean skin or over a thin layer of thermal clothing to prevent irritation.
5.2. If an allergic reaction to neoprene or Julex occurs, discontinue use immediately and consult a doctor.
5.3. Avoid overheating – in warmer conditions, remove the wetsuit to prevent dehydration and heat stroke.

6. Compliance with GPSR Regulations
The sailing wetsuit complies with the safety requirements outlined in GPSR, provided it is used in accordance with the above guidelines. Both the manufacturer and the user are responsible for maintaining the wetsuit in good technical condition and using it as intended.

7. Contact in Case of Problems
If a manufacturing defect or damage is detected, contact the manufacturer or point of sale. Do not modify the wetsuit in a way that could affect its protective properties.
