Rules for Safe Use
Proper Use
Purpose
The trolley is intended exclusively for transporting sailboats such as ILCA, Open Skiff, and Optimist. Do not use it for transporting other items or boats exceeding the permitted dimensions and weight.

Boat Placement

Ensure the sailboat is securely placed on the trolley.
Use straps (if required) to secure the boat and prevent it from shifting during transport.
Adjust the trolley’s dimensions (width, supports) to fit the specific sailboat model.
Operating Conditions
The trolley is designed for short-distance transportation of sailboats on hard, flat surfaces. Avoid transportation under extreme conditions such as:

Steep slopes.
Uneven terrain that could affect stability.
Safety During Use
Before Use

Check the trolley's technical condition, including wheels, frame, and securing elements.
Use the trolley only on stable, flat surfaces. Avoid using it on uneven terrain to prevent tipping or damage.
During Transport

Operate the trolley cautiously, particularly on inclines, to avoid tipping the sailboat.
Do not overload the trolley or use it in ways other than intended.

Technical Condition Check
Before each use, check:

Wheels

Ensure they are properly inflated (if applicable) and free of damage such as cracks or excessive wear.
Verify the wheels are securely attached to the frame.
Frame

Ensure there are no cracks, corrosion, or loose connections.
Straps

Check for strength, fit, and signs of wear or damage.
Supports

Verify the supports holding the boat are stable and properly aligned.
Testing
If the trolley has height or width adjustment mechanisms, ensure they function properly before loading the sailboat.
Check that all moving parts are lubricated to prevent jamming.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Cleaning
After each use, remove dirt, sand, salt, and other debris from the trolley, especially from the wheels and frame.
Use a soft brush or damp cloth for cleaning.
Avoid aggressive detergents that could damage the materials.
Storage
Store the trolley in a dry, cool place, away from moisture and UV exposure, to prevent corrosion and premature wear.
Maintenance
Regularly lubricate the trolley's moving parts, such as hinges, wheel axles, and adjustment mechanisms.
Inspect the technical condition every few months, or more frequently if the trolley is used intensively (e.g., during regattas).
Emergency Situations
Trolley Damage
If you notice:

Cracks in the frame.
Wheel damage (e.g., broken axles, worn-out tread).
Frayed straps.
Stop using the trolley immediately and repair or replace the damaged parts.

Improper Use
Do not use the trolley in extreme conditions, such as:
Transport on very uneven surfaces.
Carrying heavy or improperly fitted items.
Contact in Case of Issues
If you detect a manufacturing defect, damage to the trolley, or need to replace any part, contact the manufacturer or point of sale.
Do not modify the trolley yourself, as it may affect its functionality, safety, and durability.
