Safety Instructions for Sailing Sunglasses
1.Purpose
Sailing sunglasses are designed to protect your eyes during water activities by providing:
Effective UV protection (filter category: 3, suitable for high sunlight conditions).
Glare reduction from water reflections, enhancing visibility and comfort.
Additional protection against wind, water droplets, and small particles.
Sunglasses are not intended for industrial use, extreme protection, or medical applications.
2.Safe Use
Adjust the sunglasses for a secure and comfortable fit to prevent slipping during movement.
Avoid contact with rough or sharp surfaces that may scratch the lens coating.
Do not use sunglasses in situations requiring specialized eye protection, such as working with chemicals or in extreme weather conditions.
3.Materials and Maintenance
Materials: Made from lightweight, durable materials resistant to UV rays, saltwater, and corrosion.
Cleaning: After exposure to saltwater, rinse the sunglasses with fresh water to remove salt deposits. Clean the lenses with a soft, damp microfiber cloth. Avoid harsh detergents that may damage protective coatings.
Storage: Store in a dedicated case in a dry location, away from high temperatures and direct sunlight.
4.Regular Inspection
Check lenses regularly for scratches or damage that may reduce protection.
Ensure that frames and temples are in good condition, free from deformation or cracks.
5.Warnings
Sailing sunglasses do not provide protection against mechanical impacts and are not a substitute for protective goggles.
Do not look directly at the sun, even while wearing sunglasses.
Avoid using damaged sunglasses, which can distort vision or reduce UV protection.
